Corrections are made to your FAFSA to clear up any discrepancies between the initial information you submitted on your FAFSA and the information that we received on your Verification Worksheet, Military Untaxed Income Worksheet, IRS Tax Transcripts, W-2’s or other documents requested.

For instance, if you recorded on the FAFSA that you did not have income for a particular tax year, but you submitted a tax transcript or a W-2 that indicates you did have income, we must make corrections to your FAFSA to indicate this. This is necessary to ensure your financial aid eligibility is evaluated correctly and you may be awarded with all financial assistance you are eligible for.
